Jarod

Jarod was born and raised in Iowa, where he started playing piano at the age of 6. He was classically trained until the age of 15. Following his formal training in classical music, Jarod became proficient in all genres and styles of music on the piano, while perfecting his sight-reading ability. Jarod moved to California in 1996 to join The Young Americans. From 1996 to 2002, Jarod toured the world with The Young Americans, performing and teaching music to children of all ages. He currently lives in Los Angeles and makes his living as a full-time musician and music teacher. In addition to his work as a professional session musician, Jarod performs with various theater companies and loves working with some of his closest friends in Upstart.
