Michael
Michael C. Cartwright has led the life of a modern day gypsy. Born in the rural town of Omak, Washington. He spent his childhood moving with his family through Utah, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Mexico, learning trumpet as a hobby all the while. Michael packed his bags and moved to California in 1999 where he toured internationally with The Young Americans for several years. It was in this group that he discovered his singing voice, and found that he had a passion for music and the stage.
Michael gets his musical styling and tastes from great artists like Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, and Michael Jackson. His interests are in modern art, music, fine food, early 80’s sports cars, metaphysics, and nature.
Upstart has been Michael’s joy for the past few years, while he has been finishing up a B.A. in Humanities at the prestigious University of Southern California. He is a dreamer, and is extremely excited about what may be just around the next corner.
